If you want to set a background color with the shadow, you would have to do that in the graphic program that created the background image… in this case, Photoshop. However, I've included a seperate “.png” file of just the page and shadow that has transparancy built in. This will let you set the color of the background while keeping the shadow and the white “page”.
The problem with using a .png image is that not all browsers can display them, most notably IE Win. There exist “fixes” for such occasions, but there are some instances which cannot be fixed. This is exactly how simple things become horribly complicated in the web design world.
