When he was a kitten, he fit in the palm of my hand and had a habit of hiding under furniture and making tiny ‘peeping’ sounds – like a cricket – and so the name.
Simulated Scaling
The div measurements in this Freeway 4 Pro file are defined using em units, and scale with the type size in a way that is reminiscent of the zoom feature of Internet Explorer 7. The photo is defined as 100% width and height, it's size determined by it's containing div.
Type is more difficult to handle as text ‘zooming’ is not a precise amount, browser to browser. Em is a measurement of font-height, and can roughly be equated to percentage, e.g., 1em is 100%, 1.5em is 150%, and so forth. I suppose math-oriented types could map out the relationship in a more scientific way… guessing is my algorithm of choice.
